Hi my name is Tom and I'm a freelance photographer based in the Norfolk market town of Wymondham, specialising in property photography.
I first gained an interest in photography from my grandfather, who as a retired professional photographer had many years of experience and knowledge to share. The advent of digital photography saw us both invest in a DSLR camera and in theory this should had made things simpler due to not having to worry about the developing of film... there was just one issue, granddad hadn't used a computer before!
Grandad is sadly is no longer with us today, but the photography lives on in his memory through the Kered brand, since Kered Studios was his business name back in the day.
The property photographer idea came around by chance, my wife and I were in the process of selling our home and I explained to the estate agent that I'd be taking the photos for the marketing. The agent was initially hesitant, as experience said the resulting images would be sub-par but this was soon to be proved to be the opposite.
When I'm not photographing property I like capturing the charming towns and villages situated within the rural Norfolk landscape. I love the contrast between the old historic cottages and the new modern eco houses, each with their own architectural charm and uniqueness.
